Our Story

AcademIQ was born out of real classroom conversations.

As educators and education technologists, we watched AI tools enter classrooms faster than schools could adapt. Teachers were handed probability scores with no context. Students were left confused about expectations. Administrators faced high-stakes decisions without defensible evidence. Everyone felt the tension and no one felt supported.

So we decided to build something different.

What started as a small group asking “How do we make this fair?” became a platform grounded in transparency, student context, and educational integrity. Instead of labeling work as “AI” or “not AI,” we focused on understanding how student work evolves using baselines, patterns, and evidence educators can actually explain and trust.

AcademIQ exists to protect learning, preserve trust, and help schools navigate academic integrity with clarity—today and as technology continues to change.
